I was working with a homeschool client the other day and she had to memorize a slew of trig identities for an exam. She was going through a service so there was no negotiating this.
I recommended that she write the identities color coded so she could have some visual cues. Like this:

Thank you! I have most memorized but having a color visual helps me a lot.
I think color coding things makes things helpful. My eyes easily separate items with colors so its not overwhelming. Ive learned to do so without colors too but the colors does make it easier.
Thank you so much! I teach calculus and the kids always need reminders of the basics. The color makes it more user-friendly. Trig can be boring!
