We don’t have tile, just hardwood, but making a grid with painters tape is super easy and quick. We’ve done that a few times in the past.
Brilliant idea! And you can leave it for a few days – unlike mine.
I’m a high school Math teacher and – believe it or not, I still get Grade 9 students who don’t know their x-coordinates from their y-coordinates. So, on the first day of school, I laid out a coordinate axes on the floor with tape and let them find their allocated seats by telling them the coordinates of their seat. It was really fun!
