I live in the best city in the world, Houston, Texas. I’m focused on these things, in no particular order:
- Being a great wife and a pretty good mom
- Trying to figure out what makes parents nut up during homework time
- Blabbing and Periscoping with parents about math homework
- Building online courses based on what I learn from parents about their math homework experiences
- Supporting my friends and siblings on blogging and other types of content creation
- Writing articles for this blog and a few others
- Tutoring a couple of students (not open for more, though)
- Content management and social media for Restorganize (the husband’s company)
- Creating a match.com style tutoring portal for a very specific niche
- Networking face to face with other bloggers and social media folks
- Losing weight via Optifast (and looking forward to running again soon)
I get distracted by self-care appointments (doctors, dentists, hair appointments, etc.) and Zombies. I have a problem saying no to things. But I learned from Derek Sivers’s book that you can’t just say “sure” to stuff. So the above list is the “hell yeah” list, and everything else is a no.
If my focus changes, I’ll update this page.
