There’s math in music, and I still don’t like it.
Music, I mean. I don’t like music.
Okay, yes. I listen to old 80s pop tunes and Weird Al Yankovic.
But I like it because of the lyrics.
I like fun lyrics. I like catchy lyrics. But I don’t like music just for music’s sake.
I would rather have my feet cut off and fed to a shaved llama than ever have to listen to classical music.
Except for Tchaikovsky, I’m all about listening to to Tchaikovsky. For some reason.
But there’s math in music!
I hear it all the time. People ask me if I like music. I tell them I don’t.
They respond, “But there’s math in music! I thought surely you’d love it!”
Yeah, well, there’s math in everything. I’m not kidding. Everything.
There’s math in haunted houses, magic and really mean people. But I don’t like those things either.
Just because there’s math in it doesn’t mean I have to like it. In fact if I liked everything that had had math in it, I would like… well… everything.
I don’t like everything.
I don’t like haunted houses, magic, or mean people.
And I don’t like music.
Thanks for asking.
P.S. I really like “It’s A Small World” – and I found a cool way to “watch” it on MuseScore.com.
