It’s 2015 and to celebrate I’m going to use variations of 2015 to make predictions.
It might get weird up in here. So put on your seat belts and keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times.
Backwards and Forwards
Variation: The binary representation is a palindrome:
11111011111
Prediction: Whatever you do from now until July 2 will be repeated in the second half of the year. So be careful what you do, because you’ll be undoing or redoing it in the last six months!
Variation: If you rewrite the factorization (5 * 13 * 31), it’s a palindrome too:
31 * 5 * 13
Prediction: You may just be repeating things in reverse randomly all year long.
More representations and predictions
Variation: The Roman numerals for 2015 are MMXV. This is the second shortest representation this millennium. The only shorter ones are MMI, MMV, MMX, MML, MMC (2001, 2005, 2010, 2050 and 2100, respectively). The next time we’ll have a representation this short will be in MMXX in 2020.
Prediction: You might feel a little short, shortchanged, or have things go by a little faster than normal this year. Keep your eyes peeled so you don’t miss something!
Variation: In hexadecimal, 2015 is 7df. The computer color associated with this is #0007df, a beautiful peacock blue – see the picture above!
Prediction: If you love electric blue, you’re going to love this year. You may also find yourself a little blue this year, but things will get better (refer to the palindrome prediction.)
Variation: The unicode symbol associated with 2015 is
which is the N’ko letter La. (N’ko is an alphabet created so people could write certain languages of West Africa.)
Prediction: You might feel a bit like singing. Specifically using the musical note A. Or the Smurf song.

Looks to me like it’ll be a good year. You might be a bit Smurfy, blue or repetitive, but it should be short lived and you’ll get back to a nice even 2016 soon!
